摘要: Abstract Sediment transport modeling has been used as a predictive tool at the Ok Tedi from earliest investigations to present. A wide range of sedimentary processes occur, debris flows in upper reaches silt-dominated fluvial lower reaches. No single model or approach is suitable for such variety processes, and techniques have used; gradually increasing sophistication according data availability improved. This chapter describes some main approaches then concentrates on results recent set modeling. It shows how models calibrated validated predicts likely patterns deposition water surface profile change over next 60 years.
