摘要: Abstract An improved understanding of the cascading structure recycling is important for increasing resource productivity. The theory, developed to analyze cascading, has two major dimensions; quality and lifetime. latter only dimension which a quantitative evaluation been carried out in previous research. In this study, we propose new tools quantify both dimensions. These enable statistical estimation times utilization material cascaded. pre-circulation index (pre-CI) counts how many utilized before consumption. For deterioration measurable largely on basis number times, pre-CI can be an quality. post-circulation (post-CI) will after higher longer lifetime material. Thus, post-CI Total-circulation (TCI) sum pre- post-CIs. This overall We apply method presented herein analysis paper system Japan. Some features CIs are demonstrated by results; certain potential remains further improvements case that products have same rates, their pre-CIs still differ according positions they occupy cascade. policies achieve size primary raw reduction, impact whole By described herein, represent cascade quantitatively offer knowledge increase
