摘要: While Australia has traditionally relied on obtaining metals from primary sources (namely mined natural resources), there is significant potential to recover end-of-life-products and industrial waste. Although any recycling value chain requires a feasible technology at its core, many other non-technical factors are key links in the chain, which can compromise overall viability recycle commodity and/or product. The “Wealth Waste” Cluster project funded by Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Flagship Collaboration Fund partner universities focusing identifying viable options “mine” contained discarded urban infrastructure, manufactured products consumer goods. Using these outcomes as basis, typology for different (metal) reuse been developed classify common features, presented article.
