Quantitative analysis of clenbuterol in meat products using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionisation tandem mass spectrometry.

摘要: A method is presented that allows quantitation of clenbuterol in meat and liver products at the ng/kg level by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionisation tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESIMS-MS) using a stable isotopically labeled internal standard. The practical procedure involves acid extraction followed two solid-phase clean-up steps with C18 strong cation-exchange (SCX) resins. typical recovery analyte spiked 0.4 microg/kg samples was 63+/-7%. Mass spectral acquisition done multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) to provide high degree sensitivity, achieving limit detection 10 15 ng/kg, respectively. Two precursor ions m/z 277 279, corresponding characteristic isotopic cluster chlorine atoms clenbuterol, were monitored LC-ESIMS-MS unambiguous identity analyte. Samples various origins either incurred residues or known amounts used validate method.
