摘要: Publisher Summary The mechanisms governing nonorgan-specific autoimmune diseases are similar to those leading lymphoproliferative disorders i.e. the polyclonal B-cell activation thought be monoclonal expansion. Autoimmune phenomena can occur in association with several Bcell malignancies. Monoclonal immunoglobulins (MIg) appear serum of patients multiple myeloma (MM), Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM), and related disorders, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). CD5-positive B cells is a link between diseases. Nonorgan-specific well organ-specific have been associated high numbers circulating CD5+B cells. These include systemic sclerosis, seronegative juvenile arthritis, Graves' disease, infectious mononucleosis, myasthenia gravis, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis. Human CLL malignancy cells, characterized by accumulation mature appearing, long-lived, slow-growing peripheral blood. Thus, most cases CLL, there proliferation cell clones low amounts surface presence CD5 molecule. chapter describes crossroads lymphoid autoimmunity. CD5+ harbor somatically mutated V-region genes that also found from suffering
