摘要: Conservation projects have limited resources and an ever expanding to-do list, presenting a significant leadership challenge. Mid-term evaluations can be informative tools to check how short term activities are achieving long conservation outcomes. This research study involved programme evaluation of successful species recovery project in Mauritius, using systems-thinking approach management, utilising Theory Change assess the effectiveness on impacts. systematic method gave greater clarity resource planning, performance indicators supporting processes, with observations that could incorporated into ongoing plans. Such used by funding organisations or local management teams review without need for comparator, extensive benchmark data, nor prescriptive standards framework.
