摘要: In the present study, bioaccumulation of lead, cadmium and zinc in liver, kidney muscle roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) from Galicia (NW Spain) was quantified. Metal analysis performed by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS). general quantified concentrations were associated with background environmental levels, except for Pb, where some markedly elevated obtained, but no toxicological relevance. The effect sex on Cd, Pb Zn levels considered, females showing a trend to accumulate higher these metals, exception hepatic content Cd (which significantly males, P < 0.05) which did not differ according sex. age analysed only male animals clearly observed adult (liver: 0.01, kidney: 0.05 muscle: 0.001) samples (P 0.001). This study provides first data heavy metal area suggests that this species could be good bioindicator pollution, even though both factors, age, represent an important source variation metals wild populations.
