Cellular oncogenes (c-erb-A and c-erb-B) located on different chicken chromosomes can be transduced into the same retroviral genome.

摘要: Avian erythroblastosis virus has transduced two cellular genes, c-erb-A and c-erb-B. Using fractionated chicken chromosomes, we found that the genes are located on different chromosomes in genome: is a microchromosome, c-erb-B large chromosome. The locations of other oncogenes (c-fps c-myb) were also determined: c-fps c-myb chromosome an intermediate size. Our results suggest avian had independently, conforming to previous indications dispersed among multiple every species been examined.
