Beam propagation factor of an Airy beam

摘要: We investigate the beam quality features of an Airy during propagation in free space. The factor is derived based on moments method. results show that can achieve minimum M2 = 1.17 when modulation parameter a 0.756 by compromising effects lateral shift, diffraction, and departure main lobe with respect to origin. Numerical calculations provide intuitive picture describe more detail.
