摘要: Polymerized human serum albumin (pHSA) binding activity due to antibodies was evaluated by a sensitive and specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in well characterized cases of acute (AVH) chronic active (CAH) viral hepatitis. Moreover, hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection samples were tested for the presence HBsAg-associated pHSA receptors detected radioimmunoassay. Specificity ELISA detecting assayed testing IgG fractions from positive purified HBsAg particles. A very high prevalence (mean=87%) antibody response patients with type B, post-transfusion non-A, non-B (NANB) AVH CAH. IgM found 75% AVH, 77% none NANB at onset illness. In CAH, 37.5% HBsAg-positive 44% cases. HBV-related CAH no correlation between anti-pHSA or HBeAg/anti-HBe status. The showed cross-reactivity monomeric heterologous polymeric albumins. However, HBV significantly higher than albumins other species, thus suggesting that antigenic sites evoking may differ relation etiology
