摘要: The tribology of a sliding elastic continuum in contact with disordered substrate is investigated analytically and numerically via bead-spring model. deterministic dynamics this system exhibits depinning transition at finite driving force, complex spatial-temporal including stick-slip events all sizes. These behaviors can be understood completely by mapping the to well-known problem directed path higher-dimensional random media.
