摘要: aparoscopic adrenalectomy is the standard for most surgical adrenal diseases. The aim of this study was to evaluate safety and effectiveness laparoscopic patients with pheochromocytoma. The medical records 39 consecutive who underwent laparoscopic adrenalectomy pheochromocytomas from 1994 2000 at University of California–San Francisco were reviewed. Three groups were identified. first group comprised 17 classic symptoms and signs pheochromocytoma. second had minimal and incidentally discovered pheochromocytoma (i.e., "incidentaloma"), almost half whom inappropriately underwent fine-needle biopsies before diagnosis. third consisted 5 patients who had acute hypertensive crises required intensive preoperative preparation. mean age 22 men women 46 years (range 20–84 years), tumor size 4.8 cm (range 2–12 cm). A total 43 adrenalectomies performed for 35 unilateral tumors 4 bilateral tumors. The retroperitoneal approach used in four lateral transabdominal remaining without conversion an open operation. There no intraoperative complications or mortality. mean duration hospitalization 1.7 days. In conclusion, with pheochromocytoma have a wide spectrum presentations, minimal symptoms to crises. When evaluating incidentaloma, pheochromocytoma should be excluded by metabolic testing, not needle biopsy. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy preferred surgical because it safe efficacious.
