Dysprosium-Doped Strontium Magnesium Silicate White Light Emitting Phosphor Prepared by Solid State Reaction Method

摘要: In this paper, we report the dysprosium-doped strontium magnesium silicate, namely, SrMgSi2O6: x Dy3+ ( = 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 mol%) phosphors prepared by traditional high temperature solid state reaction method. The were characterized X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) Fourier transform infrared technique. crystal structures of sintered an akermanite type which belongs to tetragonal crystallography space group ${\rm{P\bar{42}}}_{{1}}{\rm m}$ . chemical composition phosphor SrMgSi2O6:Dy3+ (2%) was confirmed EDS. Under ultraviolet excitation, spectra composed broadband characteristic ions peaking at 475 nm (blue) 574 nm (yellow), originating from transitions $^{4}{\rm{F}}_{{\rm{9/ 2}}}\,\rightarrow \,^{6}{\rm{H}}_{j}$ (where j 15/2 13/2). combination these two emissions constituted white light as indicated on Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage chromaticity diagram. possible mechanism emitting also investigated. Investigation decay property show that held fast slow process. order investigate suitability samples color sources for industrial uses, correlated (CCT) rendering index (CRI) calculated. Values CCT CRI found, well within defined acceptable range.
