摘要: To safeguard the sustainable use of ecosystems and their services, early detection potentially damaging changes in functional capabilities is needed. support a proper ecosystem management, analysis an ecosystem's vulnerability provide information on its weaknesses as well capacity to recover after suffering impact. However, application concept still emerging topic. After providing background concept, we summarize existing research basis systematic literature review with special focus type, disciplinary background, more detailed definition components. Using Web ScienceTM Core Collection, overviewed from 1991 onwards but used 5 years 2011 2015 for in-depth analysis, including 129 articles. We found that has been applied most notably conservation biology, climate change research, ecological risk assessments, pinpointing limited spreading across environmental sciences. It occurred primarily within marine freshwater ecosystems. avoid confusion, recommend using unambiguous term rather than ecological, environmental, population, or community vulnerability. Further, common ground identified, which define components exposure, sensitivity, adaptive capacity. propose framework assessments coherently connects concepts vulnerability, resilience, adaptability different responses. A short outlook possible operationalization by vulnerabilty indices, conclusion section complete review.
