摘要: Currently, most kidneys from small pediatric deceased donors are transplanted into adult recipients (i.e., PTA). However, due to the weight mismatch, there is a high discard rate and ratio of EBKTs if adopting PTA. Here, we sought both optimize utilization these challenging but scarce donor grafts by selecting characterize feasibility efficacy this PTP allocation strategy. From February 2012 October 2014, 27 infant ≤ 15 kg were procured distributed 38 candidates in our center. The utilized for EBKT weighed 2.5-5 SKT 5-15 kg, leading 10 28 SKTs. overall was 94.12%. After follow-up 3-26 months, graft survival 89.47%, with four losses vascular thrombosis. Kidneys low-body-weight should be applied recipients, ≥ 5 can used single-kidney-transplant procedures at experienced centers utilization.
