摘要: Abstract This paper presents a static analysis of laminated cross-ply beams by using an unavailable unified higher order shear deformation theory (HSDT) for composite which includes the thickness stretching effect. The generalized governing equations are derived employing principle virtual work. Navier-type closed-form solution is obtained several subjected to kinds loads (sinusoidal, uniform, linear and point load). Infinite HSDTs can be further developed just modifying strain shape functions. Several hybrid type functions were introduced evaluate generality proposed theory. effects accurate prediction transverse stresses analyzed. Numerical results some compared with elasticity solutions other HSDTs. Convergence studies carried out determine necessary half-wave number different models.
