Vortex-nucleating Zeeman resonance in axisymmetric rotating Bose-Einstein condensates.

摘要: By use of the Larmor equivalence between uniform rotation and a magnetic field, we consider in strong-interaction Thomas-Fermi regime single centered vortex as first Zeeman-like excited state axisymmetric rotating Bose-Einstein condensate. This yields resonant-drive nucleation mechanism whose threshold is quite good agreement with ENS, MIT, JILA experimental results.
