摘要: Abstract This paper presents the study of two dimensionally stable anodes (DSA®) nominal composition Ti/Ru0.3Ti0.7O2, one obtained commercially and other prepared in laboratory. The materials were studied by ex situ (scanning electron microscopy (SEM)) techniques (cyclic voltammetry, determination morphology factor (φmorph) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)). results indicate that both electrodes present similar voltammetric profiles, with main difference between being internal electrode area, commercial demonstrated to possess greater. EIS demonstrates differences equivalent circuit fitting parameters can be related different surface characteristics electrodes. However, abnormal dependence solution ohmic resistance on potential model should refined adequately applied A activity for organic oxidation was also performed, aim verifying effect chain length rate aldehydes (formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde n-butyraldehyde). It observed carboxylic formation working during electrolysis, higher potentials (commercial electrode) seeming favour more rapid acid.
