Immunological detection of an oviductal glycoprotein in the rat

摘要: In the golden hamster, high-molecular-weight glycoproteins are secreted by epithelial cells of oviduct. The present study was designed to investigate possibility that rat oviduct produces specific similar oviductal (GHOGPs) hamster. Oviductal extracts and fluids obtained from ovulatory rats were analysed immunoblotting for presence cross-react with a monoclonal antibody (MAb) against GHOGPs. MAb immunoreacted broad band proteins range molecular weights (MWs) above 330 kD in or fluid after fractionation electrophoresis under reducing conditions, but these not serum uterine flushings. An immunohistochemical demonstrated bound strongly and, lesser extent, those large intestine. Weak reactions also observed some other tissues.
