摘要: Knowledge of morpho-protein patterns genetic diversity improves the efficiency germplasm conservation and development. The objective present study was to evaluate 116 genotypes Triticum turgidum from seven countries in terms morphological traits seed protein banding patterns. results showed highly significant differences among for traits. correlation between grain yield weight per spike positive, while days heading, length peduncle plant height negative. factor analysis classified four main groups which accounted 74.4% total variability. Sixteen allelic compositions were identified high molecular glutenin subunits. three alleles at Glu-A1 locus 8 Glu-B1. null allele observed more frequently than 1 2 alleles. Two alleles, namely 17 + 18 20, represented frequent Glu-B1 locus. variability Glu-A1and loci 0.42 0.81, respectively. cluster based on HMW-GS clustered six groups, indicated presence genotypes. Our findings suggest that plants belong different clusters can be used hybridization generate useful recombinants segregating generations, genetics breeding programs improvement durum wheat.
