摘要: Diabetes mellitus is one of the most prevalent diseases and associated with increased incidence structural functional derangements in kidneys, eventually leading to end-stage renal disease a significant fraction afflicted individuals. The renoprotective effects renin-angiotensin system (RAS) blockade have been established; however, mechanistic pathways not fully elucidated. In this review article, cardinal role an activated RAS pathogenesis diabetic nephropathy (DN) discussed focus on 4 themes: (1) introduction cascade, (2) intrarenal diabetes, (3) clinical outcomes DN, (4) potential urinary angiotensinogen as early biomarker status DN. This article provides rational supporting hypothesis that contributes DN levels provide index activity.
