摘要: 1 Biochemistry, 2 Pharmacology, 3 ABSTRACT Aim: Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury is a major complication associated with liver transplantation and surgery. The aim of this study to investigate the cytoprotective effects nitrite on hepatic IR injury. Methods: Groups were arranged as follows: control, sham, protocol (45 minutes ischemia, 5 hours reperfusion) groups administered 4 different concentrations sodium given 12 24 prior protocol. After protocol, serum transaminase lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) enzyme activities determined quantitative indices damage. Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, glutathione levels antioxidant in tissues all groups. Additionally inflammatory tissue remodeling processes investigated. Histological evaluations also performed. Results: Serum LDH found be increased group compared control group. Glutathione content ratio reduced oxidized significantly decreased; MDA All lowered TNF-a, IL-1b, IL-6, IL-8, IL-12, MMP-2 MMP-9 In groups, parameters which changed decreased depending concentration nitrite. Total histological damage score at light microscope level was higher Nitrite improved scores by receiving similar Conclusion: Based findings, administration have
