摘要: Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are suspected of carcinogenic, neurotoxic and immunotoxic effects in animals humans. Although background levels PCBs have been slowly decreased after their ban, they still among the most persistent ubiquitous pollutants environment, remaining subject great concern. PCB 28 is a trichlorinated found high concentrations not only human plasma but also indoor air Europe, yet little known about its metabolic pathway potential metabolites The present study aims to elucidate kinetics metabolite formation elimination by analyzing four hydroxylated (OH-PCBs) as congener. For this purpose, was conducted samples highly PCB-exposed individuals (N=268), collected from 2010 2014 representation real case scenario with longitudinal data. OH-PCBs predicted, synthesized course further identified quantitated plasma. This first time that previously unknown measured half-lives estimated for metabolites, which could then provide understanding toxicological consequences exposure
