摘要: The prevalence of biliary atresia is 1:5.000-8.000 live births. Kasai portoenterostomy a reliable treatment, but liver damage continues. Dexamethasone (corticosteroid) evolved into commonly used therapy and believed to improve clinical outcomes in atresia. objective this study was determine the effect dexamethasone on absolute number IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, IgM mice Balb/c model Murine obtained by injection 20 μL PBS containing 10 6 pfu Rhesus rotavirus (RRV) at <24 hours age. Injection with dose 0.5 mg/kg body weight done day 7 14, 14 21 after virus injection. Spleen taken for analysis flow cytometry.
