摘要: In previous studies, we reported that pretreatment with the antioxidant Tempol attenuated development and expression of cocaine-induced psychomotor sensitization in rats diminished oxidative stress (OS) prefrontal cortex (PFC) nucleus accumbens (NAc), suggesting a potential role for interfering cocaine-related sensitization. The aim current study was to examine reward reinforcement using conditioned place preference (CPP) paradigm. We found administration during conditioning session abolished CPP. also OS significantly elevated following establishment CPP, by conditioning. Furthermore, repeated, but not single, seven days withdrawal from CPP resulted significant attenuation Moreover, did affect food reward. Taken together, these findings provide evidence involvement regulating cocaine rewarding properties without affecting natural rewards. Since be effective reducing withdrawal, it may treatment addiction.
