摘要: Iron, cobalt, and nickel behave differently during the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Iron catalytic activity is initially low increases slowly to a maximum while of Co Ni essentially constant throughout process. Three explanations denoted as carbide model, competition slow activation have been previously advanced explain this behavior. A brief survey these included herein, experiments described whose results should define Failure model in explaining two four taken sufficient reason reject models. The different rates C diffusion into metals will satisfactorily difference between Fe other catalysts. Results carbidation rate for catalysts leads assumption that most closely describes (BLM)
