摘要: Objective The objective of this prospective study was to determine the prevalence and incidence marginal bone loss and, in addition, peri-implantitis subjects implant sites after 10 years function. Material Methods One hundred thirty-three with a total 407 implants that had been function for about 5 years attended follow-up visit 2007 (visit 2; V2). 100 133 returned new clinical radiographic examination 2012 3; V3). The included assessment “bleeding on probing” (BoP+) “probing pocket depth.” Subjects radiograph exhibited crater-shaped >0.5 mm were identified as losers. Results During interval between V2 V3 (about 5 years), 13 7 progressive removed. overall amount crestal occurred at remaining 1 (V1; ≥1 year loading) (10 years) small (0.36 ± 1.4 mm). bone-level reduction twice great V1 V2. Forty 75 (26%) V3. In V3, 37 lost significant amounts bone. During entire 10-year period (V1–V3), 12% patients 5% displayed signs (bone >0.5 mm, BoP+, PPD ≥6 mm), while V2–V3 interval, corresponding numbers 10% (patients) 4% (implant sites). Conclusion Sites ≥1 mm not common among patients. Peri-implantitis sites.
