摘要: Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were deposited on the surfaces of polyurethane (PUR) foams by electrophoretic deposition (EPD). The parameters EPD optimized in order to obtain homogeneous CNT coatings PUR and adequate infiltration three-dimensional (3D) porous network. microstructure composites was investigated high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM), revealing that optimal quality achieved an voltage 20 V. thermal properties CNT-coated specimens, determined thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), correlated foam microstructure. In vitro tests concentrated simulated body fluid (1.5 SBF) performed study influence presence CNTs bioactivity PUR-based scaffolds, assessed formation calcium phosphate (CaP) compounds, e.g. hydroxyapatite (HA), surfaces. It observed accelerate precipitation CaP, which is thought be due more nucleation centres for crystal growth, as compared with uncoated foams. Polyurethane coating have potential used bioactive scaffolds bone tissue engineering their high interconnected porosity, nanostructured surface topography.
