Order of occupancy in the settlement of pollution disputes

摘要: In recent years, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques have increasingly been applied to settle environmental disputes. The order of occupancy often becomes a point at issue in such settlement processes. This paper analyzes micro-level dataset ADR examine how the affects process. results duration analysis show that takes longer when polluter starts emitting air pollutants or creating noise prior victims’ occupancy.
