Measurement of Gloss Profile

摘要: Gloss distribution of coated paper was measured using a newly developed apparatus which had 75 degree light source, detector and scanning X-Y stage. The gloss profile commercial papers with the apparatus. A good correlation between standard deviation sheet visual rating appearance obtained. samples, whose were close to 2%, evaluated as poor in by most people. coating profile, surface latex concentration ultraviolet method, compared samples laboratory scale. high coat weight parts sample showed gloss, vice versa. results obtained suggested importance well binder for study mottling mechanisms.
