Lorenz attractor through saddle-node bifurcations

摘要: In this paper we consider the unfolding of a geometric Lorenz attractor when singularity contained in goes through saddle-node bifurcation. It is shown that these unfoldings can carry such either directly into hyperbolic Plykin or phenomena associated to homoclinic tangencies like for instance strange Henon-like attractors and infinitely many sinks.
