摘要: The reflection and refraction were theoretically investigated for a linearly-polarized wave incident upon the surface of naturally hyperbolic material. We proposed that this material is uniaxial possesses two hyperbolic-frequency bands (HB-I HB-II), whose optical axis arbitrarily pointed. paid our attention to reflective refractive features in HBs predicted some extraordinary phenomena. double was found, where contains transverse electric branch magnetic with different amplitudes phases. asymmetry exists coefficient abnormally decreases as angle enlarged. inside means branches (the o-wave e-wave). For e-wave, there special frequency point (SP) either HB, depending on orientation axis. e-wave exhibit completely behaviors sides SP. normal left side SP, but it an evanescent right side. Its energy-flux seriously deviates from plane highly condensed at inner near It more interesting density HB-II can even be much larger than opposite direction which evident radiation-switching effect. HB-I, HB-II. above results conclusions obtained hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). These unique properties may very useful or optoelectronic technology.
