Students' Participation in Accreditation: The Experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan

摘要: Globalization requires appropriate level of quality in higher education, which could be reached by accreditation education institutions and programs. This procedure includes involvement the students. During a decade big deal progress was taken place. However, this area is less studied, especially on Kazakhstani context. Thus, purpose paper to reveal role students involved one agencies. Even though, launched 2001, actual its implementation started only few years ago, followed series reforms area. One main aspects engagement students, not considered widely. results study are unique some extent. Current research based empirical 2013, conducted 1 out 2 national agencies Kazakhstan. The show that accreditation, experience difficulties with lack guidance, provided agency, knowledge skills Nevertheless, perceived as full partners during process. Moreover, they consider practice student-experts useful life professional experience.
