摘要: Abstract Children's own drawings were used to reveal their changing perceptions of nuclear power stations over time. In all, 213 different children from three schools in the South East England completed May 1983, December 1985, and October 1986. A content analysis showed that 1986 post-Chernobyl more likely contain chimneys, smoke, pipes, cooling towers. They less show bombs or rockets, features earlier drawings. The collective pattern was elaborated through a multidimensional scaling technique, Guttman—Lingoes Smallest Space Analysis (SSA—I). rationale is given for use this methodology whilst reference made number theoretical ideas an understanding social processes involved.
