摘要: Abstract Introduction Over the past few decades, simulation-based training has rapidly been adopted by many centres for effective technical and non-technical skills training, as a supplementary method to traditional operating room experience. The aim of this study is assess current practice in seek opinion regarding future role simulation urological training. Methods A cross sectional survey was designed distributed amongst expert trainee surgeons. consisted twenty-two questions that were split into three sections; (6), Technical Skills urology (10) Non-technical (6). Results total 91 residents 172 specialists completed survey. In both groups, there an agreed consensus laparoscopic exposure insufficient only 21% trainees 23% believed they had sufficient area. Furthermore, groups lacked common procedures including nephrectomy (62%), cystoscopy (69–74%), ureteroscopy (47–59%), transurethral resection prostate (56–65%) percutaneous renal surgery (76–73%). 90% 70% (agreed strongly agreed) Conclusions Simulation under-used thus far face uphill challenge enhance their abilities room. recommended may represent one solutions challenges safe procedural
