摘要: A retrospective review of 36 patients treated with posterior cervical plating and autogenous iliac crest bone graft was performed to evaluate the results in terms fusion, outcome, technique, complications. Numerous methods stabilization have been described varying fusion rates Compared wiring techniques, there is little information concerning plating. Thirty-six instability underwent lateral mass screw fixation. Twenty-two had acute traumatic instability, four late six metastatic disease, postlaminectomy spondylotic instability. Minerva brace worn postoperatively for 3 months assessed by incorporation on plain films, stable dynamic flexion-extension views, absence neck pain. Postoperative MRI CT imaging those who these modalities. Fusion occurred at an average all patients. One patient demonstrated postoperative neurologic deterioration, but this resolved subsequent decompression. Six loosening short, unicortical screws, did not affect result five The use titanium implants allowed operative MR without excessive artifact associated stainless steel implants. Posterior fixation grafting offers a reliable method achieving fusion. Bicortical screws are less likely loosen than no major complications occurred.
