摘要: Abstract The effect of 4-hydroxynonenal (HNE), a lipid peroxidation product, on junctional communication (JC) among cultured vascular endothelial cells was assessed by both study the transfer microinjected 6-carboxyfluorescein between neighboring and measurement “cut-loading dye transfer” technique. Both methods indicated that at concentrations higher than 10−9 M testing times 6 8 h HNE reduces cell communication. At 10−8M, gradual development appears during 6–8 exposure but is followed slow recovery completed 20 h. reduction in not produced inhibition protein synthesis, as tested radiolabeled leucine incorporation. might be relevant to pathological processes which associated with uncontrolled proliferation, atherogenesis promotion carcinogenesis chronic inflammation.
