摘要: Air polishing increases the surface roughness of dental restorations, enhancing bacterial adhesion. This in vitro study was first, to authors' knowledge, evaluate effect sodium bicarbonate and glycine powders, at different application distances (2 7 mm) times (5, 10, 30 seconds), on a nanocomposite material used restorations. Untreated slides were as controls. Surface measured using atomic force microscopy. with powder for 5 seconds, both distances, determined lowest damage. Even all limitations any analysis, this further supports safety method air polishing.
