摘要: Abstract Selective dealumination of mordenite by high-temperature steam treatment improved its stability in dimethyl ether carbonylation. Most the framework Al species 12-membered ring channels was removed while those 8-membered were retained. On resulting catalyst, formation rate methyl acetate only slightly decreased and maintained at 1.71 mol (mol H+)− 1 h− 1 15 h. Temperature-programmed oxidation analyses on used sample evidenced that deposition hard coke effectively suppressed selectively dealuminated catalyst because reduced number acidic sites channels.
