摘要: Between the years 1980 and 1985, 25 cases of anterior abdominal wall defects were identified within University Toronto Perinatal Complex. There 17 omphalocele eight gastroschisis. Associated anomalies found in 71% infants with 50% They major cause neonatal death. Prematurity was second most common The death rate 59% 38% gastroschisis; prematurity rates 53% 50%, respectively. In omphalocele, there a 47% cesarean section rate, rate. Vaginal delivery associated 67% gastroschisis, 25% is no evidence that offers improved survival.
