摘要: Pregnant ewes were supplemented with dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, either as a single intramuscular dose (500 mg two weeks before lambing) or perorally (150 daily during 3-4 lambing). Ewes without such supplementation controls. The vitamin E had nearly twice high (alpha-tocopherol) concentrations the unsupplemented control at lambing both in serum and colostrum. concentration colostrum was 5-11 higher than milk 1 week after lambing. Both supplementations somewhat increased of newborn lambs, but increase negligible comparison effect produced by consumption All lambs very low birth. from significantly values 24 h selenium status birth their offsprings when evaluated glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) erythrocytes. It seems reasonable that nutritional muscular degeneration may arise normal if is critical, because an inadequate deficient diet pregnancy consequence.
