摘要: In plate tectonics, the upper layer of Earth (the lithosphere) consists rigid plates that shift over geological time scales. Data from global positioning surveys have estimated entire Indian subcontinent has moved past 50 years about 2 m to north, diving slowly underneath Tibet. This giant collision been ongoing for million and thrown up highest mountains as well largest plateau on Earth. Not only is world climate strongly influenced by this massive (average elevation 5000 m), but also causes catastrophic earthquakes in southern, central, eastern Asia.
