摘要: Binder is an important ingredient in pigment coating as it used to impart adhesion, gloss and flexibility the dried film well binding particles together. The aim of this work was synthesize polymeric binders via radical copolymerization acrylic acid (AA) with maleic anhydride (MA) and with 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propane sulfonic (AMPS). The chemical structures of prepared were characterized by FTIR 1HNMR analysis. rheology also investigated. The prepared applied paper suspensions their effects on optical, mechanical, physical properties addition printability the coated studied. results showed that anhydride copolymers increased gave good forming good surface activity which print quality coating. It also found MA/AA (50:50) blend between AMPS:AA (30:70) have more suitable highest pick resistance resemble commercial binder.
