The purpose this multiple case study was explore strategies that veteran-owned small businesses used sustain a beyond central Florida. Using purposeful sampling technique, 13 Florida veteran owners consented interviews about their operating processes. Analysis veteran-owner managerial practices revealed common nodes themes regarding longevity factors. Based on constant comparison coding, 4 emerged: practices, market research, adversities, external assistance avenues. experiences emulated general systems theory triple-loop learning identifying, organizing, initiating process changes operational permanence.
