摘要: In this study, we elucidate the temporal characteristics of onset and withdrawal Indian southwest monsoon, making use model integration daily analyses National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting, India. The monsoon over Bay Bengal is discernable by a gradual increase in adiabatic generation kinetic energy, while Arabian Sea it first noticeable steep abrupt generation. horizontal transport heat indicates convergence regime prior to onset, indicated change from divergence regime. characterized moisture that evince transition regime; similarly, diabatic heating noticed during active period changes cooling. moisture. This precedes even circulation northwest India, which may be regarded as precursor. further supported monotonic decrease net tropospheric Sea, followed similar at land locations.
