Thermodynamic properties of tungsten ditelluride (WTe2) II. Standard molar enthalpy of formation at the temperature 298.15 K

摘要: The standard molar enthalpies of formation WTe2(cr) and TeF6(g) have been determined by combustion calorimetry in high-pressure fluorine: ΔfHom(WTe2, cr, 298.15 K) = −(38±5) kJ · mol−1, ΔfHom(TeF6, g, −(1380.7±1.3) mol−1. Two hightemperature investigations the vaporization WTe2 give derived that agree with this result, but which rather large uncertainties arise from estimated thermodynamic properties used calculations. enthalpy TeF6 replaces an earlier determination, now thought to be error.
