摘要: The electrochemistry of Ti(2) in 2:1 AlCl[sub 3]:NaCl and the electrodeposition metastable aluminum-titanium alloys containing up to 28 atom percent Ti are reported. Ti(2)/Ti(3) was studied by chronoamperometry, chronopotentiometry, cyclic voltammetry, convolution voltammetry during electrochemical dissolution titanium. It concluded that behaves reversibly this electrolyte that, at low current densities, titanium dissolves form Ti(2). follows Faraday's law for concentrations approaching 75 mmol/liter, through 325 mmol/liter can be obtained efficiencies less than 100%. Single-phase Al[sub 3]Ti with ordered face-centered cubic L1[sub 2] structure is deposited under conditions where partial not diffusion limited.
