摘要: Coronaviruses (CoVs) are documented in a wide range of animal species, including terrestrial and aquatic, domestic wild. The geographic distribution CoVs is worldwide prevalences were reported several countries across the five continents. viruses known to cause mainly gastrointestinal respiratory diseases with different severity levels. In certain cases, CoV infections responsible huge economic losses associated or not highly public health impact. Despite being enveloped, relatively resistant pathogens environment. characterized by high mutation recombination rate, which makes host jumping cross-species transmission easy. fact, increasing contact between species fosters transmission, while agriculture intensification, trade herd management key drivers at human-animal interface. If contacts wild animals still limited, humans have much more farm animals, during breeding, transport, slaughter food process, making persistent threat both animals. A global network should be established for surveillance monitoring CoVs.
