Healthcare waste management: a case study from the National Health Service in Cornwall, United Kingdom.

摘要: Abstract This paper looks at steps taken towards the development of a 10-year strategy for management healthcare waste from National Health Service (NHS) in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The major issues and challenges that affect by NHS, including its organisational structure collection infrastructure, are outlined. flows main acute medical site detailed, using audits domestic clinical bags, redundant equipment, bulky waste, special waste. Some common barriers to change, such as staff habits public perceptions, also identified.
