Oral lipid loading test in wistar rats as a reliable method for the study of the triacylglycerol malabsorption

摘要: Most of the lipid digestion is carried out by pancreatic lipase, secreted in upper part intestinal lumen juice secretions. In this paper, we describe a new single stressless and fast method to evaluate plasma triacylglycerol levels on Wistar rats under anaesthesia with minimal personal training. After administration different diet treatments, (TAG) were analyzed at 30, 60, 120, 180 minutes characterize lipidic gastrointestinal absorption. Orlistat, known antiobesity drug, was used as positive control. The results shown that able differentiate treatments administered utilizing up five animals each time step. addition, Orlistat treatment prevents TAG systemic uptake 30 60 compared control without it. On light of these conclude described study could be employed evaluate short-term lipid digestion.
